Seasonal Student Production Operator

Position Overview Have you ever wondered what it takes to create some of the most trusted foods and brands found in kitchens around the world? The WK Kellogg seasonal position is a hands-on, immersive experience designed to give students real exposure to a global manufacturing organization while making a meaningful impact. This isn’t just about observing from the sidelines. As a seasonal employee, you’ll contribute to real work, support department goals, and take part in projects that help build your skills, confidence, and professional toolkit. You’ll be empowered to think big, collaborate with experienced teams, and see how your work connects to the bigger picture. What You’ll Be Doing- Assist with the safe and efficient production and/or packaging of products alongside experienced operators and team members.
- Collaborate with operators, safety leaders, and functional partners while receiving hands-on coaching from team leads.
- Support daily operations by completing audits, tests, and basic measurements.
- Manage and input data accurately into required computer systems.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, to help maintain a safe and reliable work environment.

- The importance of safety, quality, and compliance in producing trusted food brands.
- How to communicate effectively with operators, leaders, and functional partners in a professional setting.
- How to manage data, complete audits, and support operational processes with accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a seasonal position designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
At a Minimum- High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
- Completed at least one year at a post-secondary institution.
- Currently a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Maintained a grade point average of 2.0 or greater.
- Enrolled in post-secondary education for the Fall 2026 term.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire, as of May 18, 2026.
- Ability to work flexible hours, all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), including weekends and holidays, starting May 18, 2026 through August 8, 2026.
- Able to spend extended periods walking, standing, bending, and lifting moderately heavy items weighing approximately 20–25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
