Bistro Romano, an upscale Italian restaurant, situated in an 18th century Granary, celebrating 38 years on Lombard Street, is seeking a restaurant manger to join the management team. If you are dynamic leader, have a passion for hospitality and ensuring exceptional guest experiences, then join us.
$2,000.00 Welcome BonusResponsibilities:
- Oversee daily dining room, ensuring exceptional service and high standards
- Supervise, train, motivate FOH Team
- Manage guest relations and resolving issues
- Control costs, manage inventory, handle sales reports, budgets
- Maintain cleanliness, safety & compliance with all health department regulations
- Ordering & receiving
- Private party management and service execution
- Work in tandem with BOH and kitchen to ensure food quality and timely delivery
- Work in tandem with upper management
Requirements:
- 2yrs management experience in upscale dining
- Wine & cocktail knowledge
- Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills, problem solving
- Experience with restaurant software, website updating, Microsoft office, google docs, open table, POS
- Ability to five-day work week of nights, weekends & holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for the entire work day
- Must be able to move about the restaurant and do steps
- Must be able to bend, lift, carry, extend arms and hands above frequently
