Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a travel contract job in Pittsburgh, PA. This 13-week assignment takes place in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center, offering an excellent opportunity to advance your cardiovascular skill set. The ideal candidate is a confident technologist with experience assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA

• Setting: Hospital Level I Trauma Center

• Discipline: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

• Shift: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM or 6:30 AM 5:00 PM

• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Procedures: Prepare patients, set up sterile fields, and assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements

• Operate Imaging Equipment: Use fluoroscopy and other imaging tools to guide catheters and instruments during procedures

• Patient Care: Monitor vital signs, administer contrast or medications, and ensure patient comfort and safety

• Maintain Equipment: Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain cath lab equipment

• Documentation: Accurately record procedure details, patient data, and test outcomes

Qualifications

• Required: ARRT or RCIS certification, and BLS (AHA)

• Preferred: ACLS certification and recent trauma center or high-acuity cath lab experience

• License: Pennsylvania license, or willingness to obtain

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a cardiac cath lab environment
