Registered Nurse (RN) - School-Based 1:1 Support

1:1 School Nurse (RN) needed in Pennsylvania! Enjoy the flexibility of working with an agency at a local school which allows you to have a recruiter that always has your back and advocates for you while you get to do what you love!

Contract Details:

• Location(s): Littlestown, PA.
• Contract through the 25/26 school year – 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Salary:

• Total per week: $1,760 - $1,920.

Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing or a baccalaureate degree in an allied field.
• Pennsylvania, or multistate, RN license.
• Current standard first aid card and CPR card.
• At least 2 years of prior professional nursing experience required; experience in school nursing a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the family of student in need of 1:1 nursing care to administer personal medical care, including transportation, and any school medications.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and provide appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics, including illness prevention, nutrition, and hygiene.
• Stay up to date on current nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to school health services.
