Job Description

As a Security Guard - Patrol in Erie, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and access control guidelines at a financial institution location.
• Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities, including contacting appropriate responders and documenting actions taken.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and reporting observations to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, monitoring for unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or policy concerns.
• Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate pass-down information, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
