Diesel Mechanic Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair diesel engines trailers and heavy equipment
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Repair/replace brakes hydraulics electrical components hoses seals etc.
- Inspect equipment for safety and proper operation
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Communicate repair needs and timelines with supervisors and operators
Requirements
- Experience required as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs
- Own basic mechanic tools (specialty tools provided)
- Valid drivers license (CDL is a plus)
- Commitment to safety and quality work
