PREMIUM QA SUPERVISOR (FOOD SAFETY)

The Premium QA Supervisor Position reports to the Executive Chef and works closely with the District Safety Manager to ensure that food safety is a top priority to culinary teams across all premium kitchens.

Job Responsibilities

Job Duties:
The QA Supervisor is the extra set of eyes, ears, and hands for the Food Safety Team across all premium culinary departments. This includes acting as a coach and on-the-spot trainer. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to become a trusted resource for food safety procedures.

Duties include checking each kitchen multiple times per shift to ensure staff are:

• Taking and logging refrigerator/freezer temps

• Washing hands properly and frequently

• Wearing gloves when handling Ready-To-Eat food

• Wearing hats or hair nets

• Keeping TCS (potentially hazardous) food out of the danger zone

• Taking and logging temperatures of cooked, reheated, and held foods

• Stacking food properly in refrigerators (top-to-bottom order)

• Labeling and covering foods properly; discarding expired items

• Keeping cleaning/sanitizing chemicals away from food

• Not eating/snacking in food production or dishwashing areas

• Storing beverages and personal items in designated areas

• Keeping hand wash sinks free and using them only for handwashing

• Testing and logging sanitizer levels in dish sinks

• Stocking and using food safety items and PPE

• Reporting pest sightings or equipment issues promptly

• Avoiding any practices that could compromise food safety

• Upholding Aramark's food safety standards and training protocols

Qualifications

• Qualifications:
  Candidates from all professional and educational backgrounds will be considered. A food service background and/or Servsafe Certification are preferred. Successful candidates will be self-starters who possess the ability to communicate confidently and professionally, a fast-paced sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple competing responsibilities without losing sight of bigger picture goals and duties.
