Director of Human Resources

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a rapidly growing distribution company seeking a strategic and Director of Human Resources . This individual will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, HR communications, and system optimization. The Director will play a key role in scaling the business by defining standard operating procedures, building a strong HR team, and ensuring that the people strategy supports organizational goals.

Director of Human Resources Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HR communications to ensure clarity, transparency, and employee engagement across the organization.

• Drive optimization of Paylocity (HRIS) to streamline processes, improve reporting, and maximize system capabilities.

• Build and develop a growing HR department, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction.

• Manage employee relations escalations with fairness, empathy, and consistency.

• Oversee the performance management process, including reviews, coaching frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.

• Partner with executive leadership to help scale the business, aligning HR strategies with organizational growth objectives.

• Define and implement HR standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability as the company expands.

Director of Human Resource s Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) strongly preferred.

• 10+ years of HR leadership experience, with proven success leading teams and driving organizational growth.

• Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing industries highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to implement HR systems, processes, and strategies that support business scalability.

This position is located in King of Prussia, PA and offers a flexible hybrid working model.
