  • Facilitate local safety meetings, inspections, and HSE audits.
  • Support investigations into incidents, accidents, near misses, and operational failures.
  • Promote safety awareness through communication, engagement, and employee involvement initiatives.
  • Analyze HSE data and trends to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements to the HSE program.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field is required.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental roles, preferably within field operations, oilfield services, manufacturing, or other industrial environments.

  • OSHA certification is required.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and explosives operations is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of HSE management systems, compliance frameworks, risk assessment, and incident investigation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • This is a field-oriented, hands-on position, not an office-based role. It requires regular travel to operational sites, the ability to support multiple locations, overtime as needed, and availability to respond to urgent or last-minute operational calls.
