Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician/Painter for apartment turnovers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for apartment turnover
• Assist with all aspects of complex repairs and work orders as needed
• Maintain and repair various equipment and systems as needed.
• Conduct electrical repairs, including troubleshooting wiring issues and replacing components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of facilities, maintenance practices and procedures.
• Experience with drywall, spackling, painting, electrical, plumbing, vinyl planking, and tile flooring.
• Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Must have 1 year of experience in apartment complex/building maintenance
• HVAC experience is a plus but is not required
• Criminal background check required.

Job Type: Full-time/On call for emergencies every 3rd week of the month

Pay: From $18.00 per hour (depends on experience)

Expected hours: 40 per week
