This is not a remote job, and the candidate will be required to oversee projects on-site, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple project dimensions from start to finish.

As a Roofing & Siding Project Manager at Whalen Exteriors, you will be entrusted with the management of both roofing and siding aspects of construction. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and effective handling of materials, manpower, and timelines. You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders to uphold the standards of quality that our clients rely on. We are seeking a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is proficient in navigating the ever-evolving challenges of the construction industry.

This is an in the field position

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise roofing and siding installation crews, ensuring the job is performed to the specifications outlined in the contract.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds expectations.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing safety protocols and clean-up processes.
• Document the job progress with detailed photos and notes in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the office and customer, facilitating effective communication and customer satisfaction.
• Perform small repairs to address any immediate issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Check material deliveries for accuracy and manage inventory to ensure timely availability of resources.
• Engage in problem-solving to address any procedural or technical issues.
• Create any necessary change orders to accommodate project adjustments and ensure transparency and approval from relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in roofing and siding, with a demonstrated history of successful project management.
• Valid PA driver's license and a clean driving record, necessary for driving company vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information effectively and fostering strong relationships with team members and clients.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Adept at solving complex problems, with a keen ability to develop and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs overhead
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders
