Direct Care Worker
Eminence Home Care is excited to announce an opening for the role of Direct Care Worker (DCW). As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing in-home support and assistance. Your responsibilities will include helping clients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. You’ll also provide emotional support and companionship to promote their overall well-being. At Eminence Home Care, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care and creating a supportive environment for both our clients and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care tasks.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to promote safety.
- Monitor client health and report any changes to appropriate parties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in clients' living spaces.
Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor towards clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
