SCOPE:

Supports the Engineering Technical Publications Department during development and layout of new or revised submittal documentation and product tagging/labeling.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Prepare submittal document layouts that present technical information in a clear, concise, and easy-to-reference manner.

• Prepare line art and other graphics that are used within submittal documentation.

• Collaborate with teams that include engineering, marketing, product management, and various other disciplines to ensure submittal documentation is thoroughly reviewed and approved prior to publication on the company website.

• Assist with the layout and publication of product tagging/labeling.

• Work within the Victaulic Digital Asset Management System to upload line art and images linked within submittal documentation.

• Work within the Victaulic Engineering Department's Global Data Portal (GDP) to find graphics and specifications required for submittal documentation.

• Participate in Best Practice activities of the Engineering Technical Publications Department.

• Perform a variety of tasks to support routine operations of the Engineering Technical Publications Department.

• Work under close supervision to learn procedures and gain Victaulic product knowledge.

• Become familiar with Victaulic leadership values.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree in graphic design, graphic communications, or another related field

• Highly skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, along with Microsoft products

• Experience working with technical documentation a plus

• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent interpersonal skills

• Collaborative and able to work with a cross-functional team

• Ability to work from written and verbal directions

• Enthusiasm and ability to learn about Victaulic and their products, markets, and customers.
