Maintenance Mechanic

Our client located in Conshohocken , PA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright to join their team. This role will involve mostly mechanical troubleshooting and repairs to heavy industrial machinery. Shift runs Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30 PM with OT available. Pay rate $33-40+/hr The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical maintenance, fabrication, equipment installation and assembling.

Responsibilities

 Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery
 Troubleshoot and maintain motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment.
 Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
 Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
 Work with facility manager to continually update the production process and system software.
 Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
 Safely operate hoist, power tools, hoists and hand tools.
 Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications.
 Maintain parts and tools inventory.
 Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training,
industry workshops and technical reading.
 Snow removal and similar related duties

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
