Position Description:

This role will require someone in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.

Remote work is not an option.

For a leading financial services client, CGI is seeking a Quality Engineering lead with excellent hands-on experience in planning and implementing end-to-end testing services. The CGI partner will be responsible for QE deliverables and Automation of UI/API Testing.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead overall test deliverables of assigned project from inception to deployment.

. Acts Single point of Contact for testing efforts for the assigned module/application.

. Create Test Strategy and Test Plans and other test artifacts for releases

. Build and Maintain Selenium/Cucumber/BDD framework automation suite for UI applications.

. Build and Maintain Karate/ Rest Assured automation for APIs.

. Create and Maintain Automation suites based on Java programming and Object-oriented concepts.

. Creating simple/medium SQL queries for data validation.

. Execute the Test cases and publish the reports for each release.

. Configure JIRA dashboards and filters to provide real-time visibility into test progress and quality status.

. Maintain constant communication with BA's, LOB and other project members including global delivery teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Should have 6+ years as a QE Automation Lead performing overall test deliverables of assigned project from inception to deployment and test automation.

. Should be an expert with QE testing methodologies, processes, Test Strategy, and Test Planning.

. Should be an expert with Test Automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium/Java/Cucumber/BDD and Karate or Rest Assured.

. Must be able to write simple/Medium SQL queries for data validations.

. Should have a deep understanding of Agile principles, ceremonies, scrum calls, demos and planning sessions.

. Should have strong communication and facilitation skills across distributed teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
