- Tax and client consulting focused
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
- Prepare and review corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.
- Analyze tax regulations and recommend policies that minimize tax burden.
- Develop tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
- Forecast tax predictions to senior managers.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct complex tax research and prepare documentation for audits.
- Advise management about the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation, CPA, or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Analytical skills with detail orientation.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
- Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
- Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Returns of Income, Corporation tax, Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, RCT.
- Experience with S Corp, 1065 partnership, and 1040 individual returns.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
