Empower K-12 learners across York County as an onsite Teacher for the Visually Impaired. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide essential support across multiple school districts, including Southern, South Eastern, and Dallastown, as part of a contract role. You’ll collaborate closely with district staff as you travel between sites, making a direct impact on the educational journey of visually impaired students. The assignment is scheduled to run from August 18, 2026, through June 1, 2026.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Pennsylvania certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Demonstrated experience supporting visually impaired or blind students in a K-12 setting
• Commitment to providing individualized instruction and adaptive materials
• Skilled in IEP development and implementation
• Comfortable with an itinerant schedule—traveling to various school sites within the county
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instructional services to students with visual impairments across multiple school districts
• Assess students’ educational needs and adapt materials, technology, and environments to foster access and independence
• Consult regularly with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
• Complete all required documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide training and guidance to educational staff on best practices for inclusion and accessibility
