The Center is a local behavioral health practice. We are growing! We're looking for a motivated, self starter who can:

Submit claims for Medicaid clients. Record payments. Respond to clients. Customer service with clients who have billing questions or issues. Follow up with billing issues. Communicate with all staff. Attend monthly all staff meetings. Medicaid knowledge a huge plus. You will also do audit checks on clinicians' medicaid paperwork. This position will report to the Director and the Sr. Billing and Claims Administrator.

Position is hybrid: virtual and in the office one day/week.

5-15 hours per week.

We're a vibrant, supportive mental health practice looking for an articulate, effective, problem solving human to join our crew. You’ll handle the complicated stuff (billing, rejected claims, and customer service ) while our clinicians handle the clients' mental health.

Our flagship office is in Bethlehem, PA. We also have an office in Denver CO - and are licensed in various states.

Hill, Ph.D. & Associates LLC, you'll be able to work work independently with a sense of freedom and control over your work, collaborate when you need backup or a sounding board, not deal with micromanaging managers, no drama team and just real people doing meaningful work, with the occasional bad emails and funny texts from all of us.

Requirements:

• EXPERIENCE in billing, claims, and/or accounting
• Excellent communication skills - you will have to speak to clients - calling our "problem children" when claims or insurance is denied.
• Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint based federal criminal history
• Maintain quality documentation
• Self starter who can work solo (lone wolf with pack support) or with a micro group in the billing and claims department.

A seasoned professional or some experience but looking to grow and learn. Spanish speakers also preferred but not required.

Make your own hours and be your own boss. This is a 1099 position. No W2.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
