Event Support (Part - Time)
The primary responsibility of the event support staff is to provide support for any internal and/or external, non-school related program or activity. This includes rental events, and in-house events, meetings and programs.

Hours: No set schedule. Evening, weekend and holiday work required. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments to include a variety of weather and temperature conditions. Work hours vary, and may be during the day, evening or nighttime hours. This is a part time position where the schedule will be based on venue rentals and event support needs.
Status: Part-time, hourly position
Hourly Rate: $14.76 per hour Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with outside vendors, as directed by the Events Manger, to assist with equipment and vendor load-in assistance
- Before, during and after an event, works closely with the events management team to determine what assistance is needed.
- Monitors event execution, addresses areas of improvement, and facilitates event shutdown.
- Provides outstanding service to guests through the entire event process.
- Meets with potential clients and assists staff with facility tours.
- Documents event details and provides input on the improvement and advancement of the Events team.
- Tracks correct documentation and payment collections from clients and vendors.
- Efficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Friendly, helpful disposition, and a desire to provide stellar customer service to staff and visitors.
- Clearance of a criminal background check
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Creative thinker with the ability to think-on-your-feet
- The ability to work a flexible schedule – nights & weekends
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to walk for periods of time.
