ServiceNow CMDB Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate requires strong ServiceNow CMDB and Service Mapping experience to document requirements and ensure accurate delivery across the platform team.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

ServiceNow CMDB Business Analyst Job Responsibilities Include

• Capture and document business and user requirements for ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping initiatives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow platform team to ensure alignment on needs and delivery.
• Translate requirements into user stories, validate development outputs, and support testing to ensure accurate and complete functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements, model processes, and drive adoption of ServiceNow capabilities.
• Work with the platform team to estimate releases, support release planning, and ensure successful deployment of CMDB‑related enhancements.
• Maintain strong oversight of data mapping, discovery processes, and integration needs to ensure proper CMDB population and service visibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst with hands‑on work in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, ITIL best practices, and experience with requirements gathering as required by the client.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, integrations, and data mapping to meet client technical expectations.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
