Sales Associate
Berks Menswear is seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to support daily sales operations and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working directly with customers, takes pride in product knowledge and presentation, and contributes to a positive, team-oriented retail environment. Sales Associates play a key role in representing the Berks Menswear brand by providing attentive service, assisting customers with product selection and fittings, and maintaining store standards. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Evening and weekend availability is required. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming, service-oriented experience
- Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and fittings
- Support sales transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, and store offerings
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Assist with merchandising, restocking, and inventory organization
- Follow company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily store operations
- Communicate customer needs or concerns to store leadership as appropriate
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a professional demeanor
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow direction
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting as needed
