About Our Client :

Addison Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable law firm specializing in insurance defense and litigation. They are seeking a paralegal to join their litigation team and provide key support in managing complex cases.

Job Description :

This position will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with case preparation, trial support, and legal research. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct interviews and prepare detailed summaries for attorneys
• Organize, review, and summarize legal documents and medical records
• Perform legal research and assist with case preparation
• Draft legal documents, including discovery responses and motions
• Coordinate meetings and communicate with legal professionals, experts, and court staff
• Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and witness coordination
• Assist with calendaring and schedule management

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of paralegal experience specifically in insurance defense
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Experience with legal research databases and court filing systems
• Familiarity with civil litigation procedures
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
