Role:

We are partnering with a rapidly growing professional services organization to identify a senior tax advisory leader who will play a key role in scaling an established client advisory practice. This individual will provide strategic tax guidance to a diverse portfolio of closely held businesses, private investors, and affluent individuals while helping elevate the overall client experience. The position combines high-level client advisory responsibilities with operational leadership, including oversight of service delivery, engagement economics, team performance, and cross-functional collaboration with internal leadership.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on yet strategic tax executive who enjoys building teams, refining processes, and driving continuous improvement within a growth-oriented environment. This leader will mentor developing talent, strengthen internal infrastructure, and help shape the long-term direction of the practice through thoughtful planning, technology adoption, and scalable workflow improvements. Key areas of focus include:

• Strategic Leadership: Directing the operations and service standards of the tax planning and compliance practice.
• Relationship Management: Acting as a primary advisor to high-net-worth individuals to design complex wealth preservation and tax-efficient strategies.
• Operational Oversight: Ensuring projects are executed with technical precision while integrating modern technology to improve workflow.
• Team Development: Coaching and supervising professional staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
• Business Growth: Partnering with executive leadership to refine financial goals and expand the client base.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Taxation is required. Juris Doctor JD is preferred
• CPA is required
• Big 4 or large National/regional accounting or advisory firm
• S Corporation and trust tax experience is required
• Prior experience with business transactions, including M&A, and entity restructuring

Compensation:
A competitive compensation package will be available for this position including a base salary, annual bonus upwards of 20-30%, as well as a GREAT medical, dental, vision, wellness, a GREAT 401K, vacation and sick time, paid holidays, floating holidays, etc.

Working Situation:
This is in the office 4 days a week Monday through Thursday with Fridays being work from home.
