Job Description Summary
Responsible for day to day management of complex projects by supporting the operations of the Center for Hereditary Retinal Degenerations in its clinical practice, in the administration of ongoing and anticipated clinical trials, and in the performance of clinical research.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage patientvisits
  • Organize testing schedule for patients.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure study protocol and testing requirements are met.
  • Perform specialized visual psychophysical testing of hereditary visual impairment patients.
  • Interpret and analyze patient data.
  • Maintain and organize regulatory documentation.
  • Perform inventory of clinical center supplies.
  • Perform simple, regular equipment maintenance checks and calibrations.
  • Assist with data entry into central databases and query resolution.
  • Maintain and organize study source documents and regulatory documents, including reporting of adverse events, in compliance with GCP and University and sponsor policies.
  • Assist the Senior Research Project Manager in submitting documents to regulatory authorities.
  • Train and oversee staff and students on how to administer study testing procedures and protocols and provide guidance for other ongoing projects.
  • Lead independent research projects (assist in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data)
  • Assist in authoring scientific manuscripts describing research results.
  • Attend scientific meetings and present research results.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
