Location: 1609 Baltimore Pike, Building 600, Chadds Ford, PA 19317

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Scheduled Saturdays: 10:00 AM–2:30 PM, as needed for events

Must be available for key floral holidays, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our flower shop team in Chadds Ford, PA.

This position is responsible for daily floral deliveries, preparing and loading delivery vehicles, organizing delivery routes, assisting with weddings and events, and supporting general studio operations. The Delivery Driver plays an important role in making sure each floral arrangement, plant, gift, and event piece arrives fresh, clean, undamaged, and on time.

The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, comfortable using GPS and delivery software, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This person should have strong people skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with a wide variety of customers, businesses, venues, and team members.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDeliveries

• Complete daily floral deliveries throughout Chester County and the surrounding area.
• Safely deliver floral arrangements, plants, gifts, and event pieces to homes, businesses, funeral homes, hospitals, and event venues.
• Handle arrangements and plants with care to ensure they arrive fresh, clean, and undamaged.
• Maintain the delivery schedule and establish efficient routes using delivery software.
• Load, secure, and organize the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders on time to scheduled destinations.
• Confirm deliveries using delivery software, notes, photos, signatures, or other instructions when required.
• Contact customers or recipients when needed to complete deliveries.
• Follow all state and local driving rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Report delivery issues, customer concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with weddings, events, and larger floral installations as needed.

Studio Assistance

• Assist floral designers when needed.
• Process incoming floral freight orders.
• Unbox, organize, and prepare floral shipments.
• Help organize, stage, and prepare orders for delivery.
• Answer incoming calls when needed.
• Take incoming floral orders when needed.
• Support general studio duties at the Chadds Ford location.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role in a floral studio and delivery environment. Applicants should be comfortable with the physical demands of the position.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, lift, push, and pull throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and carry floral arrangements, plants, buckets, and delivery items.
• Ability to load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Ability to safely move arrangements, event pieces, and floral materials.
• Ability to work in and around a floral studio, cooler, delivery vehicle, and event spaces.
• Ability to work during busy holiday and event periods.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to navigate Chester County and the surrounding area.
• Comfortable using GPS, delivery software, iPhone/iPad, email, Google Maps, and/or Waze.
• Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and customer-focused.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available for key floral holidays, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve.
• Weekend or event availability may be required.

Compensation

Pay: $15 per hour, based on experience.

Delivery drivers may receive occasional customer tips and are permitted to keep any tips received.
