HVAC Service Apprentice - Broomall, PA

DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company in Broomall, PA is hiring an Apprentice HVAC Service Tech/Helper who is motivated to assist our experienced technicians while learning the trade. As an Apprentice HVAC Service Tech/Helper, you'll work Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 4:00 pm with overtime required occasionally. We offer this position a competitive hourly wage of $15. - $18. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN APPRENTICE HVAC SERVICE TECH/HELPER

You are eager to learn as an Apprentice HVAC Service Tech/Helper. By asking questions, observing, and emulating our company values, you learn the tricks of the trade. You go out in the field with the best technicians in the area and aid them as they complete services. You take every opportunity to learn as they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly service equipment.

Being the hard worker that you are, you do whatever is asked of you and pay close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with customers and fellow employees as you learn. Various career paths are available after apprenticeship. You also spend some of your time taking classes and continuing to expand your HVAC knowledge and skills. QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years experience in the mechanical or skilled trades industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• EPA certification required
• HVAC Certification or diploma required from trade school or equivalent.
• Must be positive, friendly, and have a good work ethic.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Be able to work with a computer, iPad and phone.
• A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass both a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to attend required trainings and ability to work overtime as needed.
• Physically capable of completing job-related motions and tasks.
