Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our client to provide high-level administrative and legal support to a team of attorneys in a collaborative office environment. This direct-hire role, based onsite in Bala Cynwyd, PA, plays an essential part in ensuring the firm’s daily operations run smoothly through expert coordination of documentation, client communication, and case preparation. The Legal Assistant will help streamline workflows across practice areas, manage attorney schedules, and maintain accurate legal and billing records to support efficient and timely client service.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $80,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant:
• Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to multiple attorneys, including scheduling, file management, and correspondence.
• Assist with preparing and processing legal filings, engagement letters, and billing invoices while maintaining detailed records of client matters.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams to manage expense reports, check requests, and monthly billing processes.
• Coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements to optimize time management and client responsiveness.
• Serve as a point of contact for visitors, incoming calls, and document deliveries, ensuring a professional and welcoming office experience.
• Utilize legal software tools and document management systems to maintain organized and accessible case materials.

Qualifications and Skills for the Legal Assistant:
• At least 3 years of administrative experience, including 1+ year in a legal, in-house counsel, or court setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with iManage or similar document management systems preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to anticipate attorney needs and proactively resolve challenges.
• A degree in a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
