Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, etc.)

Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to ensure system efficiency

Diagnose system issues using gauges, meters, and modern diagnostic tools

Accurately document work performed and communicate recommendations to customers

Follow safety protocols, EPA regulations, and company standards

Provide excellent customer service and represent SlateCo professionally on every job

Qualifications

1+ years of HVAC experience (install or service; willing to train the right candidate)

EPA Certification (preferred, but not required)

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
