The Preschool Teacher-Supervisor plays a vital role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This lead teacher position includes responsibilities both in classroom instruction and supervisory duties, ensuring a safe, engaging, and well-managed learning space. The role involves collaboration with staff and communication with parents to promote positive child development and maintain compliance with all safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents about child progress and concerns
- Monitor and guide children’s behavior effectively
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Lead and support team members in daily tasks and supervision
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance, development, and incidents
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood education
