Pricing Coordinator

DRT Transportation is a third-party logistics (3PL) and intermodal marketing company (IMC) providing transportation sourcing and logistics management to clients across North America. With offices in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Tennessee, our team works around the clock to ensure that our client's shipments are delivered safely and on time and are kept in the loop throughout the process.

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Pricing Coordinator to join the DRT team. The Pricing Coordinator will play a crucial role in collaborating with Sales and Operations to develop effective pricing strategies, analyze historical lane data, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

As a Pricing Coordinator you support sales, marketing, and operations in growing our business by forecasting profitability of multiple clients pricing options and participating in the development of a pricing strategy to retain existing business and to continue to win new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the strategic pricing processes and management of bid cycles, ensuring pricing models are competitive and data-driven.
• Manage and complete all RFQ opportunities in accordance with specific customer requirements and deadlines. Work closely with internal departments, adhering to revenue goals, communicating with the sales and operations departments, and following guidelines and suggesting strategies.
• Use several quantitative and qualitative methods to review and analyze competitor pricing and services, assess market share and margins to gain a complete picture of effective pricing strategies
• Track and analyze customer responses and engagement on pricing efforts and determine more effective ways to reach customers and gain market share
• Actively monitor market trends within the industry, develop strategies that take advantage of untapped market segments and help the company gain market share in new avenues.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and Sales team on strategic pricing decisions.
• Support all functional areas with any pricing requests as needed.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in the logistics/transportation industry, with data analysis, pricing, or related fields.
• Analytical thinking, mathematical skills, presentation skills, listening skills
• Strong ability to analyze information, propose solutions, and make sound decisions based on data and customer needs.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Team collaboration and coordination skills, strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Power BI is required.
• Must reside near, or be willing to relocate to, Lebanon, PA
• Effective written and verbal communication with ability to develop strong cross-functional partnerships
• Organized, energetic, accurate and detail oriented
