Manufacturing Manager
Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) is seeking an experienced U.S. Manufacturing Manager to lead and scale our manufacturing operations . This role has full ownership of s hop execution , team leadership and development , and continuous improvement across machining , welding , and cleanroom environments . The Manufacturing Manager ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operations that align with business strategy while driving cost-effective delivery of top-quality products. You'll play a key role in building a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all shop floor operations, including CNC machining, welding, and clean room activities, while fostering a culture of manufacturing excellence Lead and coach a high-performing manufacturing team, promoting growth and development Oversee operational budgeting, project timelines, and capital equipment planning to ensure optimal resource allocation and project success Ensure precision, quality, and adherence to safety standards Cultivate a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations Address operational challenges with critical thinking and strategic problem-solving, driving plans through to tactical execution Champion continuous improvement and manage Lean and 6S programs to enhance efficiency and productivity Other duties assignedQualifications:
10+ years' experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles, 6S, CAPA, process mapping, and performance management BS in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making Willingness to travel up to 15%, domestically or internationallyPreferred
Experience in machining and welding Familiarity with large job-shop or production environments Understanding of manufacturing finance International experienceWho We Are:
