Administrative Assistant
Our client, an administrative services company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will assist with organizing files, managing schedules, and providing general support to the team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start their career in an office setting and gain valuable experience.
In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain the office environment and ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently. You will be working closely with other team members to facilitate communication and enhance productivity within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Manage and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Prepare and distribute internal and external communications
- Assist with data entry and report generation
- Provide general clerical support to various departments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach
