What challenges will you tackle?

• How do you turn a drawing into a reliable build? You’ll interpret engineering prints, project materials, and production orders to guide assembly.
• Can you craft precise wiring? You’ll build and wire cables and subassemblies used across electronic instruments and control assemblies.
• Is quality your reflex? You’ll conduct continuity tests, implement modifications, and perform targeted repairs to ensure conformance.
• Do you like keeping equipment in top shape? You’ll perform routine maintenance on a range of electronic instruments and devices.
• What’s your approach to troubleshooting? You’ll operate test and calibration equipment to diagnose and verify performance.
• Are your hands steady? You’ll apply strong soldering and crimping techniques.

Who you’ll work with

Collaborate with engineers and production teams; you will report directly to the Production Manager.

Credentials that set you up for success

• Associate degree in an Electronics or Electrical program; recognized technical programs are acceptable alternatives.
• Examples of qualifying programs include Naval Nuclear or other military technical training.

Skills that make a difference

• Reading and applying electrical schematics

• Understanding of electrical/electronic systems
