General Laborer
We are looking for a reliable Construction Laborer to support restoration and construction projects in the Scranton, PA area, with opportunities in Allentown as well. This is an entry-level role with hands-on training, steady overtime, and a clear path for growth into leadership roles. The position is ideal for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and interested in building a long-term career in construction and restoration. This role involves physical work, team collaboration, and on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with restoration and construction projects including demolition, cleanup, and site preparation
- Support crews with basic construction tasks and material handling
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads on daily tasks
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends as needed
- Work extended hours and overtime based on project demands
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project progress
- Learn restoration and construction processes with the goal of advancing within the company
Requirements
- No prior experience required; construction or restoration experience is a plus
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Interest in long-term career growth within construction or restoration
Benefits
Compensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience. Full-time position. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and other company-sponsored programs.
