We service the Pocono and Lehigh valley and eastern PA, Northern NJ and the 5 boroughs of NY. The pay range, of the position, varies depending on your skill level and prior experience. You may start a little lower and move up as we see what you are capable of.

We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician within a 45-mile radius of our Effort PA shop location. Take ownership of your future and grow us.

Duties

• Travel from site to site to service and maintain our customers Refrigeration & cooking equipment.
• Self motivate and communication are key.
• Repairing/replacing commercial kitchen appliances
• Communicating issues, diagnostics, parts and pricing.
• Keeping your vehicle clean inside and out
• Getting to your jobs within your scheduled time frame
• Ordering parts and providing customers with estimates for repair or replacement when necessary.
• Ability to read and identify system components.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Refrigeration Cycle.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and procedures; maintain the workplace (including the service van) in a neat, clean, and safe condition.
• Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques.
• Project a professional image to associates and customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician
• Ability to travel
• Must have or acquire own hand tools
• Meet all physical demands of the position
• Must possess the ability to communicate with customers, management and coworkers effectively
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities
• Ability to work on a team or independently
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters and other relevant equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A current drivers license with a clean Driver Record with no pending or prior DUI charges is a must.

Agreement to a background check

Prior experience.

• EPA Certification

Licenses:

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
