Step into a day where advanced machinery meets hands-on problem solving. You start your shift reviewing overnight logs, then head to the floor to inspect lasers, press brakes, coil lines, and CNC punch presses. A press brake throws a fault, so you trace it through the electrical and hydraulic circuits, adjust a valve, update a PLC tag, and bring the cell back online—safely and efficiently. Later, you calibrate a robot’s axis, document preventive maintenance, and sync with engineering to plan an automation upgrade. If winter weather rolls in, you’ll pitch in with facility snow removal because keeping operations moving matters.

What You’ll Tackle

• Fabrication equipment upkeep: Service and repair lasers, press brakes, coil lines, and CNC punch presses. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to keep assets running to spec and compliant with safety standards.
• Systems integration: Implement new machines and technologies into existing lines. Partner across functions to ensure seamless commissioning, validate performance, and suggest design tweaks that boost throughput and reliability.
• Documentation: Keep precise records for repairs, inspections, and PMs. Contribute to procedures and maintenance manuals.
• Broader maintenance support: Jump in where needed when not on automated assets—emergency, unscheduled repairs (including overtime and some weekends), routine PMs, and site tasks such as snow removal.
• Controls and PLCs: Diagnose, maintain, and repair PLCs and control systems to ensure stable operation.
• Robotics and automation: Troubleshoot robotic systems, perform preventive maintenance and calibration, and collaborate with engineering on automation improvements.

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience focused on fabrication and automated equipment.
• Hands-on skill with PLCs, controls, robotics, automation, and complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency repairing lasers, press brakes, and CNC punch presses.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Comfort with preventive and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Sharp troubleshooting, analytical mindset, and strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
