Compliance Coordinator
We specialize in providing non-core, mission critical facilities maintenance and management services to large organizations with geographically dispersed properties in various industries such as retail, restaurants, banking, telecommunications, and others with multi-location business operations.
Job Summary:The Compliance Coordinator ensures all third-party partners meet the organization’s regulatory and contractual standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, managing the lifecycle of their documentation and ensuring that all necessary verifications—from insurance to background checks—are accurate, complete, and current
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Subcontractor Liaison: Proactively coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to acquire all necessary compliance documentation well in advance of expiration dates.
- Documentation Review: Review and analyze critical source documents, including subcontractor agreements, insurance certificates (COIs), W-9s, and employee-level verifications.
- Audit & Analysis: Monitor compliance reports to identify gaps or risks; perform detailed background investigation reviews to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Quality Control: Audit all incoming paperwork for accuracy and completeness to maintain a "ready-to-audit" filing system.
- Director Support: Execute specialized reporting and other compliance functions as assigned by the Director of Compliance to support departmental goals
- HS Diploma is required. Bachelors or Certificate in General Insurance preferred
- Experience working in a legal department or compliance department is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel is required.
- Experience working with AI-Powered Contract Review Tool and Corrigo are a plus but not required
- The duties of this job consist of extensive office work requiring prolonged sitting at a desk, using phone, and computer
- Standard office environment with minimal noise. When working from home, confidentiality must be maintained. Third parties are not permitted in the room when communicating on legal matters
