Job Description

Join our team as a Day Shift Assembler, where you will be involved in the general manufacturing and mechanical assembly of renowned motorcycle parts. This role requires a commitment to working mandatory shift extensions and occasional overtime on scheduled days off. As an assembler, you will be performing repetitious tasks, following assembly instructions, and utilizing RF Scan guns to track products throughout the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of motorcycle parts such as saddlebags, handlebars, inner fairings, mirrors, wheels, and tires.
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and perform repetitious tasks efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools and RF Scan guns to scan and manage products throughout the assembly process.
• Work mandatory shift extensions, up to two hours after the day shift or before the night shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and performing light assembly work.
• Ability to use RF Scan guns for tracking products.
• Comfortable working in a production environment and performing repetitious tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to stand for up to 10 hours or more during the workday.
• Ability to be cross-trained in various assembly processes.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and non-climate-controlled environment.

Work Environment

Work in designated cells to complete sub-assembly tasks while standing for the duration of your shift. The facility is a union environment, requiring candidates to pay union dues. It is not climate-controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter, with fans and colder areas near dock doors. Dress code is regular clothing, avoiding offensive attire, and safety glasses will be provided. No open-toed shoes are allowed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.53 - $17.53/hr.
