Job Summary
W e are seeking a Emissions Sales Lead based in Midland, Texas to drive commercial growth and strengthen customer partnerships across the Permian Basin. This role is responsible for developing revenue opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, and executing sales initiatives that support long-term business objectives.
Job Description
- Develop, manage, and expand a strong sales pipeline within assigned markets and accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead prospecting initiatives.
- Support sales forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics to guide strategic decisions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand operational needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Build long-term partnerships through a consultative sales approach.
- Partner with leadership to implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitive insights, and customer data to inform commercial decisions.
- Assist with pricing strategies, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Work closely with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure successful delivery of customer commitments.
- Provide market and customer feedback to inform product innovation and service improvements.
- Mentor junior sales team members and assist with onboarding new hires.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding business operations and client information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- 5+ years in a comparable sales leadership or business development role.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas sector, including established relationships with operators in the Permian Basin.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience related to ESG, emissions management, or atmospheric sciences.
- Additional experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Demonstrated success working autonomously in a field-based role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong organizational practices.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel 60–80% within the region.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Business, or a related field.
Salary
- $139k - 149k pe r year (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
