Part-Time Housekeeping, Subaru Park
ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Awarded Major League Soccer’s 16th franchise in 2008, the Philadelphia Union officially took the pitch in 2010 and have been raising expectations ever since. Owned and operated by Union Sports & Entertainment, the Philadelphia Union call Subaru Park home—an 18,500-seat, world-class, soccer-specific stadium set along the Delaware River beneath the Commodore Barry Bridge, just 15 miles from downtown Philadelphia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for enthusiastic, hard-working people to join the housekeeping team at Subaru Park during the season. Housekeeping staff play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests, players, and staff. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and office areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Detail-clean suites and premium spaces (dusting, mopping, wiping surfaces, restocking supplies).
- Pick up and sort waste and recycling following post-event procedures.
- Pressure-wash seating bowl and other exterior surfaces as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report supply or maintenance needs.
- Follow all cleaning, safety, and PPE protocols.
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work with others.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Flexible availability — daytime, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required by stadium schedule.
- Able to work independently, exercise good judgment, and take initiative.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a fast-paced, event-driven schedule.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects (frequently up to ~50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in noisy, crowded environments.
