This position goes beyond translation. It is about building trust, delivering meaningful education, and creating clear communication experiences that empower employees to make confident healthcare decisions.
In this role, you will serve as the primary resource for Spanish-language communication across BSI's book of business, partnering closely with account teams to support open enrollment meetings, marketing, and client service, ensuring messaging is accurate, culturally relevant, and aligned with BSI's standards of excellence.

What Makes this Job So Unique?
- Lead and deliver English and Spanish-language open enrollment presentations for BSI clients, both virtually and in person.
- Travel to client locations to support English and Spanish open enrollment meetings and employee education sessions during peak enrollment periods.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients and employees, providing day-to-day benefits education and support.
- Translate and adapt benefits presentations, employee communications, and guidebooks to ensure clarity and cultural relevance.
- Maintain and manage BSI's open enrollment presentation database, ensuring materials remain accurate, current, and aligned with branding standards.
- Partner with Account Teams to ensure communication strategies align with client objectives and overall benefits education goals.
- Coordinate the creation and maintenance of English and Spanish-language presentations and materials within Big Tin Can, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Manage and track client wellness program participation, providing engagement reporting and supporting wellness events and fairs.
- Conduct Salesforce audits across client data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal standards.
- Act as a liaison between Account Teams, Customer Service, and clients to resolve enrollment questions, discrepancies, and communication needs.
- Support enrollment preparation, carrier audits, compliance documentation, and internal service calendar initiatives.
- Maintain working knowledge of benefits regulations and industry developments, ensuring communications remain compliant and accurate.
Qualified Candidates Should Possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) required.
- Ability to obtain Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses within six months of employment and maintain licensure.
- Experience in presenting information clearly and confidently to large groups and diverse audiences.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex benefits information into clear, understandable messaging.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients, employees, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- High energy level and the ability to perform under pressure with frequent interruptions, particularly during peak open enrollment periods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex benefits questions and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in Salesforce and Big Tin Can.
- Knowledge of health insurance benefits such as Medical, Rx, and Dental benefits, HSAs, FSAs, and carrier reporting preferred.
- An understanding of fully insured, experience-rated, and self-funded plans is preferred but not required.
