Entry Level Support for Production Operators

The Bug Company is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Support Team Member for the Operators. This position primarily supports the Production Operators. The support-production operator team member will maintain the product's standards of excellence under the supervision of the Supervisor/Lead. This is a Full-time position that requires the successful candidate to work on-site at our facility in Hellertown, PA. Duties:

• Work with and handle live insects daily
• Maintain stock & supplies for the Operators
• Prepares boxes and materials
• Performs duties with accuracy
• Assemble with care, accuracy, and quality
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Attention to detail
• Work independently and as a team player
• Performs responsibilities in a friendly and professional manner, considering co-workers and other staff
• Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a dusty environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand in place, squat, kneel, bend, and carry frequently
• Ability to problem solve and follow directions
• Ability to understand and speak English
• Ability to count to 100 and do simple math
• Ability to use a box cutter and tape gun
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy, care, and speed
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Must have attention to detail

Shift:

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

**Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and the company's needs**
