Emergency Department Registered Nurse
We are seeking an adaptable and high-performing Emergency Room Nurse to join our 20-bed ED. This role requires a clinician who excels in a fast-paced environment, providing immediate assessment and life-saving interventions to a diverse patient population.
Core Responsibilities
- Rapid Assessment: Perform efficient triage and secondary assessments for patients presenting with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries.
- Emergency Interventions: Administer emergency medications, assist with advanced procedures, and manage stabilization for critically ill patients.
- Team Coordination: Lead care delivery within a tiered staffing model, collaborating effectively with LPNs and PCAs to optimize patient flow.
- Crisis Management: Maintain clinical excellence during high-volume periods and emergency department surges.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certifications:
- BLS: Basic Life Support (AHA).
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA).
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA).
