Job Summary Responsible for overall operational strategy for the end to end supply chain operations. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization’s business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate the organization’s performance (KPIs) and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
• Designs and communicates a compelling vision of what the organization will look like in the future and what it will be capable of, while providing guidance on the strategic initiatives that will ensure the organization accomplishes that vision.
• Ensure supplier performance meets supply chain strategy and goals.
• Partner with Procurement to apply segmentation techniques to design appropriate sourcing strategies.
• Accountable for risk mitigation plans to minimize impact of supply chain disruptions.
• Champion of sustainability plan for Supply Chain Operations.
• Partner with diverse internal and external key stakeholders to deliver critical business outcomes.
• Use customer and supply chain knowledge and relationships to identify service, cost and growth opportunities.
• Build a strategy around hiring, training and onboarding of new supply chain operations staff into the supply chain operations team.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
