Overview:

Mission of the Role:

The Bartender is responsible for prompt, courteous service to bar and lobby guests by serving food and drinks, and cleanliness of the area.

Essential Job Functions:

Take, mix and serve drink orders.

Interact with guests and creates a welcoming atmosphere.

Record all sales using the appropriate register and follow all cash handling procedures. Maintain cash bank, guest checks and process all guest payments according to established procedures.

Completes open, close and side duties including: cleaning tables, stocking supplies, wash and stock glassware, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area.

Maintain a clean and organized bar area. Follow all safety and hygiene standards.

Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.

Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

RAMP certification required

Able to carry trays and move items weighing up to 30 pounds

Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws

Knowledge of all drink types

Strong communication and customer service skills

Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the duration of a shift

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $12.00/Hr. - $12.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
