What you'll do...

HindlePower is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support purchasing, receiving, and inventory control activities within our manufacturing operation. This position bridges both the administrative and physical aspects of the supply chain - helping ensure materials are accurately ordered, received, stocked, and delivered to production on time.

• Support purchasing activities by preparing purchase orders, obtaining quotes, and following up with suppliers on order status and delivery dates.

• Receive incoming materials, parts, and equipment; verify quantities and inspect for accuracy and quality.

• Accurately record receipts and inventory transactions in the Made to Manage (M2M) ERP system.

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are staged and available to meet manufacturing schedules.

• Maintain organized storage areas and support safe material handling practices.

• Monitor inventory levels and alert team members of shortages or discrepancies.

• Participate in cycle counting and other inventory control activities to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Communicate proactively with internal departments regarding material availability, delivery updates, and changes.

• Support recordkeeping, filing, and supplier documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the supply chain team.

What you bring...

Experience & Background

• Experience in shipping, warehouse operations, materials coordination, or logistics within a manufacturing environment
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory and shipping transactions
• Exposure to inventory control practices such as cycle counting and material staging
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed in a production or warehouse setting.

Technical & Operational Skills

• Strong proficiency with forklift operation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and system transactions
• Problem solving skills and critical thinking
• Comfortable navigating ERP systems and maintaining clean, accurate data
• Basic understanding of freight billing and invoicing processes
