**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering designated areas of the healthcare location.
+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing information as needed.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as required by site procedures.
+ Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff to address concerns and provide assistance as needed within the healthcare setting.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
+ Assignment to hospital morgue duties is required.
+ Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
