Automotive Service Technician

We value our employees and believe in helping them grow their careers in automotive service. Job Summary We’re looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Ford and non-Ford vehicles in a fast-paced, high-volume shop. Key Responsibilities * Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards * Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning * Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to identify issues accurately * Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding vehicle status and recommend additional services when needed * Provide clear time estimates for additional repairs and explain findings as needed * Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and documentation requirements * Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all dealership safety policies Qualifications * 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred * Ford Certification * Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred * B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair * Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination * Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies * Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve * Enjoy working in a dynamic environment * Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively * Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Benefits
