Patient Transport Supervisor

Job Description

The Patient Transport Supervisor position is responsible for developing and implementing patient transport solutions to meet customer and client needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport patients in a high-volume department.
• Works with transport employees to help problem solve and mitigate issues.
• Daily interaction with clients at the hospital to ensure timely and efficient services.
• Daily interaction with transport and hospital staff to ensure patient safety.
• Exemplary customer service experience
• Solution-oriented
• Management/supervisory experience within a healthcare/hospital environment preferred
• Experience training and coaching high performance from employees
• Proficient using the computer - particular Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred
• Requires at least three years' direct work experience and up to two years' experience in a management role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Customer service experience
• Solution-oriented
• Experience training and coaching employees
• Proficient using the computer - particularly Microsoft Office

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
