Job Title: High Reach Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Shift: 1:30PM - 10PM

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with experience operating a variety of material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in driving sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts, and will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within our facility. This position requires previous forklift operating experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts to move products and materials throughout the warehouse or production area.

● Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.

● Stack and store materials in designated areas, following all safety protocols.

● Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.

● Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.

● Work in coordination with other warehouse staff to ensure the efficient flow of goods.

● Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

● Maintain accurate inventory and storage records when required.

● Assist with order picking and packaging, when necessary.

Qualifications:

● Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts.

● Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.

● Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.

● Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to [weight] lbs) and perform physical tasks.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Strong communication skills and the ability to report problems effectively.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

● Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling materials up to 45 pounds.

● Comfortable working in varying temperatures, depending on the work environment.
